Abstract

Political systemof islam is derived from the Holy Quran and Hadith literature primarily.Holy Quran discusses the political affairs of previous nations.Those affairs are further elaborated by different Hadiths. This article explores the political affairs and events of earlier nations mentioned in the books of Hadith. The objective of present study is to analyze such Hadiths in a sense to take benefit in present era. For this purpose , the Hadith literature consisted of political affairs and events is analyzed in historical and current era perspectives. This is a qualitative research anddata is gathered from primary and secondary sources. Primary sources include Holy Quran and Hadith whereas secondary sources include books.Articles and online sources.The recommendation of this study can be applied in present political system ofPakistan as well as in othermuslim countries. The study suggests that Khilafat is an ideal political system ofislam. Similarly , jihad is an integral part of islam to compete evils which will continue till ages. Rulers should be competent, truthful and honest.Moreover , rulers should  enjoin for the right actions and forbid the wrong ones in the society. The public should assist rulers in its beneficial works. There should be protection of human rights onequal footing regardless of race or religion.
