Abstract

Tradition of modern poetry has been the topic of glow and light in Modern Siraiki/ Punjabi poetry. In the verses of this poetry Siraiki/ Punjabi Wasaib seems to be talking and whirling all around. Every person is too much involved and interested to look into the inner of common, innocent and poor people. Reason is that these common people have been in the prey in the clutches of tyranny. These simple people earn their living by working in the fields of landlord, Sardaars and Wadairas, they also remain busy in making household items like Parchay, Toakray, Chagg, Taddis etc, and they love their land from the core of their hearts. Foreign invasion and tyranny of local Tumandaars make their lives sympathetic. They are forced to live like slaves and Gypsies. They were given the identity like Bheil, Santhal, Moor, Mohanay, Kottaney etc. Land lords and even so called religious authorities make them away from the love of their Lord, Allah Almighty. Riffat Abbas brought such people in the land of love, peace and harmony. He tries to introduce common people with their loves and eternal Lord, Allah Almighty. He tries to spread happiness around the lives of common men.
