Abstract

Syed Imtiaz Ali Taj was attached with  the theatre from student life. His critical articles written on acting, drama writing, research and editing regarding Urdu stage drama will alenays being appreciated. When Taj sb. Joined Radio Pakistan he translated in Urdu many One Act plays from other languages and some of them were performed on the stage . These plays are creative translations. In this article an artistic, thoughtful and linguistic study of his stage performed plays like "Mera Qatil","Box aur Cox" and " Gungi Juro"is presented
