Abstract

This research delves into the eloquence of words in the Quran and the difficulties associated with their translation into Urdu. The study adopts an analytical and rhetorical approach to explore the nuanced aspects of linguistic eloquence within the Quranic text and the inherent challenges encountered in the process of rendering these expressions into the Urdu language. The study focuses on two main aspects: the appropriateness of the word's substance in its contextual usage and the complexities involved in accurately translating these expressions. Additionally, it addresses the rhetorical nuances associated with definite and indefinite articles, examining the challenges posed by their translation. The research methodology employed is both analytical and comparative. The analytical aspect involves a thorough examination of the rhetorical features embedded in the study's scope, while the comparative approach is utilized when juxtaposing the Quranic text with its Urdu translations.The significance of such a study lies in its academic contribution, providing insights into the intricacies of translating the Quran, particularly into Urdu.
