Abstract

 The article is about defenation, history and development of children’literature among the history of literature.As concerned the meaning of  Childer’ literature,there is variety of  meanings and definations regarding the literary  term  as the term is defined :It comprises that  vast,expanding territory recognizably staked out for a junior audience ,which does not mean that it  is not also intended for seniors .Children’s literature emerged as distinct form of literature in the second half of the 17th century,during the period its growth has been so luxuriant as to make defencible its claim to be regarded with the respect though perhaps not the solemnity that is due any other recognized branch of literature  The article is devided into two parts ,first is about its definations and second part is about its kinds and development in worldely reknown literatures like as French,English and Arabic.The article is very informative and beneficiary for the scholars of Arts and humanity.The article throughs light on the contribution of Arabic writers in the regard.The article provides answers of some questions regarding children’sliterature like as what types of childer’s literature and what is its importance,development and future of the literature.
