Abstract

In this article, Abid Sial's Urdu ghazals have been seen with reference to classical poetry criticism. Abid Sial's ghazals are unique in the standards of style, imagery, composition, composition along with expression and innovation. In his ghazals there are applied forms of classical poetic standards. Because of this, it makes the poetry absorbing. His ghazals meet the standards even in terms of prosodies. This is the reason why he is a successful poet of Urdu ghazal both in terms of thought and art. His poetry successfully descends on all the parameters of classical poetic criticism.
