Abstract

War is a horrible fact of the human life. It is very common that some segments of the human society always try to get political hold on others by the use of their military force. Behavior of the armies during the war plays a central on the outcomes of the war. Moral standards kept in practice by the forces not only shape the resultant condition of war hit area but also make a great impact on psychological and political behavior of the people of that land. Modern age war with lethal weapons of mass destruction like atomic bombs, chemical and biological weapons and long range missile systems has set new standards of cruelty and unprecedented inhuman behavior. This phenomenon has changed the demographic scenario of present time human society. This article identifies the ways adopted by the forces of the current era during war and their consequences appeared on the human behavior and society. This will provoke the realization among humanity to make necessary changes in modern time war ethics and laws.
