Abstract

In any society, a creator, makingpolitical, social, religious and economic problems his subject creates a piece of art. At the same time, he has a unique critical view on the texts of contemporary writers.The name of "Muhammad Hameed Shahid" is important among such contemporary creators because he is simultaneously a fiction writer and a critic of fiction.His uniqueness in Urdu criticism is that he applies his critical insight to different genres, styles and topics. So far, he has published five fiction collections, one novel and several books on the criticism of various genres of Urdu literature, in which he highlights his unique critical insight.In this paper, books have been researched and critically reviewed regarding the criticism of Muhammad Hameed Shahid's fiction
