Abstract

This study explores the reflection of married life in the novels of Urdu women novelists, examining the portrayal of marital relationships, challenges faced by couples, and the evolving dynamics of marriage as depicted in the literary works. Urdu literature, enriched by the contributions of women writers, provides a unique lens through which one can analyze societal norms, gender roles, and the intricacies of marital life.The research focuses on selected novels written by prominent Urdu women novelists, spanning different periods and styles. By employing qualitative analysis methods, the study delves into the narratives to identify common themes and patterns related to married life. The analysis considers the historical and cultural context within which these novels were written, shedding light on how societal changes and women's evolving roles have influenced the depiction of marriages in literature.
