Abstract

Al-Tabari's approach in justifying the recitations is based on the intention of the recitations in the positions of disagreement, then discussion of those aspects unless the disagreement is from the linguistic or grammatical aspect. And in that, he attributes every reading to his companions, whether they were individuals, or to their companions, whether they were Egyptians, Kufis, al-Basri, or Hijazis, then he mentions the content of his opinion, and limits his authority, and in most cases he presents opinions, requiring authority based on rules and regulations.
