Abstract
Human beings are pure by nature. In reality, the life of a good-natured person is naturally connected with both religion and the world. It is also a fact that a person who balances their religious and worldly life remains happy in all circumstances. But, time and society have different effects on a person's nature, which can sometimes affect their religious life and sometimes their worldly life. Since religion and the world are interconnected, one aspect's influence can affect the other. The central aspect of a person's worldly life is their economic livelihood, which is linked to trade. Then, religion provides some guiding principles to secure and stabilize trade, and acting upon these principles can secure and improve the livelihood of all members of society. Human economic livelihood is comprised of wealth and property, which is deeply loved by humans, as stated by Allah, 'And you love wealth with a mighty love.' Therefore, humans make every effort to secure and accumulate it. In every era, humans have adopted different methods to secure their economic livelihood, trade, and wealth. In the present age, insurance policies, also known as takaful, have been adopted as a means of securing one's wealth. There are different forms of insurance policies, and there is a significant difference of opinion among Islamic scholars regarding the permissibility of commercial insurance policies. Both permissive and prohibitive views exist, and it is not possible to act upon both views simultaneously. Therefore, a thorough discussion of both views and their evidence is necessary to determine the preferred opinion."
