Abstract

 “All Quiet on the western Front” is considered a masterpiece between the world war 1st’s literature. Although the story of the novel belongs to German community but in its structure, subject, treatment and style it becomes universal thatswhy remark’s novel gained international fame and translated in may languages. In Urdu literature it is translated under title “Khamoosh mahaaz” by lala-e-sehrai in 1943 but cann’t publish in his life- It’s Urdu translation will definately prove a trend setter in the area of Urdu fiction translation because translator has revive the first World War Era in such a unique patren that translation feels like creation (crative writing)- Thus Remark’s remarkable novel turns into a remarkable Urdu translation.
