Abstract
Poetry is the expression of emotions and feelings, in which the quality of ghazal enhances its beauty. The Persian language is often called the sweet language. In Persian poetry, the charm of the ghazal enhances its beauty so much that it elevates the popularity of poetry to its peak. This rise is one that is unfamiliar with the fall, immortalizing the genre of ghazal. This paper sheds light on the tradition of ghazal through the words of classical Persian poets, which have opened the doors to new possibilities in poetry. It has also been observed that Urdu poets greatly admire Persian poetry, particularly in the chapter of Ghazal. This highlights the importance of Persian poetry and strengthens the tradition of its influence on Urdu Ghazal.
