Abstract

Criticism establishes an identity between good and bad, it is the recognition of good and bad that determines the quality. It is the initial and key step of  determining perfection where defects and merits are the thing of beauty. East -ern criticism where the good of art is. It does not look at the flaws, it is the  same criticism that made the art work beautiful and made the artist a thinker and inventor. Maulana Shibli Nomani enlightened Urdu criticism with inno -vative and inventive criticism. Eastern criticism, like today's western criticism, Instead of affixing the labels of Marxism, urbanism, aesthetic and historical  criticism on the work of art, explores the work of art according to the princip -les of art, and after a thorough investigation, it declares a work of art as eloqu -ent and less eloquent and another as the best. He has emerged as the foremost critic of Eastern criticism and practical criticism.
