Abstract

This analytical study delves into the philosophical ideas of Abu Nasr Muhammad Al-Farabi, a renowned Islamic philosopher and polymath. The article examines Al-Farabi's metaphysics, epistemology, political philosophy, and ethics, highlighting his significant contributions to the development of Islamic philosophy. The study explores his concepts of the First Cause, the nature of reality, knowledge, and the ideal society, as well as his synthesis of Greek and Islamic thought.
