Abstract

"Chakki Wada Mein Wisaal" is the novel of Muhammad Khalid Akhtar which influenced Urdu literature and every class of readers and this novel became his fame. He was undoubtedly a writer of a unique style. His novel "Chakki Wada Mein Wisaal" is an interesting creation. The famous poet and writer Faiz Ahmad Faiz called this novel by Muhammad Khalid Akhtar as an important novel of Urdu and also intended to make a movie on it.

Muhammad Khalid Akhtar chose humor in the House of Literature. In the two layers of identification of hypocrisy and understanding of human stupidity, Khalid's inclination was towards satire. In prose, Khalid's style of feeling is dominated by the color of the West. He actually conveys the impermanence that is characteristic of modern thought through the seemingly uncut translation of the English narrative. To read Khalid Akhtar is not to meet the modern man, but to meet modernity itself.
