Abstract

Man can never forget his past; some of his recollections linger on in his heart which leaves indelible impressions on his personality. This nostalgic attitude of man has deeply influence even literature. Even the Masterpieces of great authors contain historical and nostalgic elements. This nostalgic nature of man has not only influence novel, fiction, and poetry but even the travelogue too. The travelogue of Jamil Zubairi, “MOSMON KA AKAS” is its best example in this regard. Although Jamil Zubairi excelled for in the life race after coming to Pakistan but he never got rid himself of his childhood memories. When he happened to visit the same place again right after 35 to 40 years where he had spent his childhood, most of his past memories became fresh in his mind. This travelogue is the best anthology of his past recollections.
