Abstract

Every writer has the impacts on his writings, of its tradition as well the literature he study. He narrates the ideas and thoughts in his  literary works which he gets from his society. Rasheed Ahmed Siddiqui is a renowed name of Urdu literature. He has gone through deeply in study of Urdu as well western literature. He has great influence of western writers. This article describes the impacts of French novelist “Victor Hugo” on the writings of Rasheed Ahmed Siddiqui. Articles covers many examples from the writings of both writers.
