Abstract

Civilization is neither a word nor a subject, yet it has become a center of interest for the past two centuries. Civilization is the way of human beings. Man is the only creation of God who possesses knowledge, memory, speech, spiritual values, and a heart. Due to his thought, consciousness, research, and organization, he not only has the ability to invent and reveal but also has the courage to subjugate the stubbornness of nature and to renew his life, and the concept of making his own day is his practical interpretation. It is the essence of civilization. Wherever man faced resistance, his creativity and quest carved new paths. The combination of nature, fear, and desire transformed the individual into a family, and the family into a society. This society gave birth to civilization; civilization strengthened culture; and the link that connects all these stages is civilization.
