Abstract

Badah e Nab is a translation of  Mir Wliullah's Persian Rubaiyat. Professor Bashir Ahmed Suz translated these Rabiyats from Persian to Urdu and published them under the name of Bada e Nab. Mir Wliullah was the only writer of Hazara with whom Allama Muhammad Iqbal had deep respect. And his father Maulvi Sultan Mir was the spirit of Anjuman Islamia. On his invitation, Allama Muhammad Iqbal read his thesis and poem Abar under the title of national life in the hall of Government High School Abbottabad. Prof. Bashir Ahmad Souz, while presenting the review of Mir Wliullah's poetry, has proved that Mir Wliullah is among the most reliable poets of the twentieth century. Prof. Bashir Ahmad Souz translated the Persian language into Urdu with great skill. And also made a conscious effort to access the original meaning.
