Abstract

The book "Kitab-ul-Ilaam Birruwaat-il-Imam" has been written by Syed Rushdullah Al-Rashidi.Rushdullah was one of the best writers of Islamic thought. He authored more than seventy books in various languages Urdu, Arabic, Persian and Sindhi etc.  He was born in 1860 and died in 1923.There rose many scholars who their services in one field of assma-ur-Rijal. But there is seldom mention of Rushdullah's who services for Assma-ur-Rijal. His book "kitab-ul-Ilaam Birruwaat-il-Imam" is about the narrators of Imam Abu Hanif. No one before him has collected the narrators of Imam Abu Hanifa. This work of his is an ideal and an intellectual asset in the Islamic world. We have presented a research review of his book in this article.
