Abstract

These fairs, which began with the the Karachi Literature Festival (KLF) and Lahore Literary Festival (LLF) in the early 2010s, have rapidly grown in number and influence. which have spread to other cities such as Islamabad and Faisalabad. This paper examines the impact of literary festivals in Pakistan on various aspects of society. These include cultural preservation, intellectual discourse, community engagement and economic development.
The study highlights the role of literary festivals in preserving and promoting Pakistan's diverse literary traditions, including Urdu, regional languages and English literature.
