Abstract

Rahman Muznab’s short stories portray a wide variety of social classes and their environments. Drawing on his personal observations of family life and surroundings, he presents different sections of society, ranging from religious people to market women and eunuchs. Each class is shown within its distinctive social environment. His characters, themes, and representation of different classes give his fiction a rich variety of environmental and social dimensions.
