Abstract

Akhtar Raza Saleemi is famous poet, fiction writer and editor. He started his literary career as poet but later he got popularity as a fiction writer as well. He has  written three novels. His novel JINDER predicted changes in village life. Wali Muhammad is the protagonist of the novel.. In JINDER Akhtar Raza Saleemi showed the gap between the old generation and new one. New generation started leaving villages for better livelihood and high standard life. In this article, attempt has been made to discuss village life and its multihull aspects with particular references from the novel JINDER۔
