Abstract

Our beloved  motherland Pakistan is facing  challenges  like  terrorism, lawlessness, poverty, educational  backwardness, etc. At the same time,  constant  attacks on  our  ideological and geographical boundaries by internal and external enemies pose grave challenges. The Pakistan Army has played its role on the front line to counter this. Pakistan Army is a symbol of national pride and strength and no country can ensure its defense without a strong military.

Our brave soldiers are sacrificing their lives for the future of the country. On the intellectual and literary front,  apart from the performance of military service, Pakistan Army  writers  also endeavored to foster the intellectual growth  of the  nation while upholding the sanctity of the pen.

Even though the literary figures of the Pakistan Army have left their mark in all fields of Urdu literature, the field  of  humor  seems to be their favorite playground.

Among these famous humorists, a significant name is Subedar Khalid, who has enriched the treasure trove of Urdu humor by presenting the story of a recruit becoming a soldier in a humorous style.
