شرائط طلاق کے لغوی و ادبی اعتبارات: تفسیر احکام القرآن (تھانوی) اور تفسیر نمونہ کا تقابلی جائزہ Literature review of Divorce : A comparative overview of Tafseer Ahkam-ul-Quran (Thanvi) and Tafseer-e-Namoona Section Islamic Studies

Abstract

Family life is a significant element of society that is originated by Nikah (wedlock). It is such a strong and long lasting contract that any act  which may likely become an obstacle in its eternity has been warned by Sharia and  provided special instructions to life partners to avoid  such acts, that’s why divorce  has been considered the most unacceptable act in right actions of Islam. Islam also provides the terms and conditions of divorceto individuals for getting rid of this bond in case of conflicts and clashes. In this research paper the terms, types and orders related to divorce will be elaborated in the light of two prominent Tafa’seer (exegesis) of Qur’an “Ahkam ul Qur’an(Thanvi) written on urge of Mualana Ashraf Ali Thanvi by five excellent scholars of subcontinent extracting rules from Qur’an in the light of directions by Hanfi sect.The second one is written in Persian by ten scholars under the supervision of Nasir Mukarim Sherazi in Iran according to Jafri sect. Terms and conditions related to divorce will be compared in the light of these two Tafaseer (exegesis). The study will provide an overview of divorce method according to Sunnah in the light of two different school of thought.
