Abstract

The science of jurisprudence was written down to interpret the guidance given by the Qur'ān and the Sunnah regarding outward actions, and the ilm ul ēhsān, which is also called the science of ethics (ilm ul akhlāq) and the science of Sufism (ilm ul tasawwūf), was written down to explain the details of the things that the Qur'ān and the Sunnah have said about reforming the inner world. The one who has perfect access to all these sciences was considered as a perfect religious scholar. Since these sciences were written down for the convenience of the Ummah and were not against the Qur'an and the Sunnah, but the spirit of the Qur'ān and the Sunnah and their benefits. Therefore, each of them The person who knew him started to be known by a different name. Among the scholarly families of Multan, the status of Obāydiya family is prominent. The scope of the religious and academic services of this family attributed to Mufti Obāidullah Multani is rightly present in the fields of writing, speech and teaching. In this article, the pen services of five sons from the first successor, Mufti Abdul Rahman to Mufti Abdul Wadūd, are specifically mentioned. The expression of the practical forms of Sufism with a prominent recognition in the knowledge of fatwa and heritage is the distinction of this family. Practical teachings for the problems faced by the contemporary are provided to the seminary and related parties through speech and writing. The combination of jurisprudence and Sufism, what qualities are found in the society, the quest to see its practical example is the motivation of this research article. He has done regular writing services on Sufism with Fatwā-Writing (Fatwā Navēsī) explaining terms such as Wahdat-ul-Wujūd. A Sufi is one who is always ready to pay for the rights of Allah. The pen services of Khāwaja Abdul Aleem are prominent. The successors of Khwāja Obāidullah Multani appreciated the scholarly legacy of their ancestor and adopted his practices in practical life. Among the Sufi muftis of the family, the pen services of Khwāja Abdul Aleem are prominent.
