THE SERVICES OF NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR PROMOTION OF URDU LANGUAGE, INDIA

Abstract

This article presents the importance of Urdu language in history of "India". "NCPUL" (as the ministry of welfare  of human resource) is working under Indian government for promotion of Urdu language. It is an independent  institution and its responsibilities include help in the implementation of government policies made for Urdu and  Urdu linguists. The main goal and objectives of National Council is not only to promote Urdu language but also to  provide a suitable environment for its promotion as well. This institution has published many books about success  of Urdu language. Publication of books especially books related to history of Urdu language and literature are  preferred at NCPUL.kuliyat-e-Saadat Hassan Manto, kuliyat-e-Rashid Ahmad Sadique ,civilization of 18th century, evolution of Urdu literature, criticism of urdu literature, sukhan dan-e-faras are some important books to be  mentioned. National council has published the translation of NCERT (Nation Council of Educational Research and  Training) books.Text books of maths and commerce have been the part of its publication programme.Its 
Performance about persian and Arabic language is worthy too.National council for urdu language has performed  its task to attain its aim and purposes.
