Abstract

Ali Ahmad Ba Kathir is one of the great Arab Scholars of the previous century.
His work is heart touching and memorable contribution to the Islamic and Arabic
literature. His literary work is worthy and admirable not only by the Arab World but
the whole Asia also. He translated an English play, Romeo and Juliet by
Shakespeare, in Arabic language. He quoted Quranic Verses, sayings of the Prophet
(PBUH)and stories of Islamic history in his literature. He tried to wake up the
Muslim ummah. He wanted to portray the religion in every field of life in his
writings. In this article, we have discussed the topics, ways and strategies of Ali
Ahmad Ba Kathir incorporating these pure thoughts in his writings. We have divided
this paper in two parts, in first part we have discussed about the life and literary
work of Ali Ahmad Ba Kathir whereas the second part of the paper revealed to the
religious topics in the novels of Ali Ahmad Ba Kathir.
