Abstract

Literature is linguistic expression of aesthetic experimentation. It is criticized and evaluated by the critics. Dr.
Wazir Agha and Dr. Gopi Chand Narang are critics of modernism and post modernism. Both have caste everlasting
impact of their critical thoughts and ideas on Urdu literature. They have introduced modern theories of west in
specific native (eastern) social, cultural and civilizational aspects. They have opened new horizon for the writers of
Indo-Pakistan. In this article, their critical approach and comparative study has been highlighted and analysed.
