POETIC STYLES OF IQBAL'S THOUGHT: A RESEARCH STUDY

Abstract

Iqbal performed his duty of awakening the nation with his poetry. He has
achieved his goals through poetic terms. He nurtured the inner spirit of the nation
by using his artistic talents. He innovated words and concepts metaphorically. He
added meaning to his chosen symbols. The rarity of similes in Iqbal's thought has
surprised me. Distinctive essays of illustrations enriched Iqbal's thought with
artistic merits. Iqbal's metaphors are attractive. In Iqbal's poetry, the world of
metaphors also seems to be dwelled. He used simple metaphors and created
spiritual meanings from metaphors. These artistic qualities have created
uniqueness in Iqbal's poetry. Reading this article makes it easier to understand
Iqbal's poetic style. Acknowledgments have widened avenues of research and
criticism. The study of this article is very important for the expansion and
interpretation of Iqbal's thought.
