Abstract

This is an analytical study of the poems of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal which are derived from the 
English literature. The English poems' translated versions in Urdu, made by Iqbal are creative and matchless. The 
poet has made a landmark correspondence to the subject matter of the poem and possesses the full command over 
both languages. These translated and derived poems show Iqbal's intuitive innovations which might be viewed as his 
own creations. Here we see the original climax of his amalgamation of art, derivation and creativeness. Indeed this 
is a worthy work.
