Abstract

The discipline of hadith Studies is one of the richest and exclusive discipline of knowledge as its
branches extends to hundred. The religious scholars had written thousands monographs concerning
Hadith interpretations and explanations. Many voluminous works appeared and exist and each of them is
a commendable contribution to hadith explanations. One of significant works on hadith explanations is
“Takmila Fath al-Mulhim” that is the result of scholastic efforts of many years by Mufti Muhammad
TaqiUsmani. This explanation of Hadith Book Muslim was originated and finished till the “section of
Marriage” by AllamaShabbir Ahmad Usmani but he could not extend to it to the last chapter due to his
political engagements and later his demise closed the chapter. MolanaTaqiUsmani completed the
remaining work in 18 years and 09 months. Justice TaqiUsmani is undoubtedly a great muhhadis,
scholar and researcher of this Era. This explanation may rightly be called a library in its own because of
its gigantic material on Hadith, Fiqh as well as current issues. In this way, this explanation is a source of
great help both of students and teachers of Hadith. This article deals with the Distinctive features of this
explanation.
