THE LIMITS OF FOOD WITH THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK IN THE PRESENTAGE: A RESEARCH STUDY IN THE LIGHT OF THE QUR'AN AND SUNNAH

Islam is a universal religion. Its teachings are a beacon of light for the world of humanity. These teachings are
applicable and easy for people of all ages and backgrounds. Food is a basic human need. Man cannot live without
water, drink and food. Human life is impossible without them. It is also clear that Muslims and non-Muslims all live
in the world and have social relations with each other. In this case, the complete and enlightening teachings that
Muslims have received from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) regarding food and drink are very important. In this article, we are presenting the texts of the Qur'an and
Sunnah, the interpretive points of the commentators and the opinions of the jurists in this regard so that the Islamic
teachings of interfaith food become clear.
