USE OF WORD ESHAQ AND ITS IMPORTANCE IN ABIYAT E BAHU

Abstract

Sultan bahu is a great philosopher, saint well known Punjabi poet and a true Dervaish. He was not formaly
educated but with his spiritual knowledge he wrote many books. According to a research he wrote one hundred and
forty books but the book which is most famous among these is Abiyat Bahu.In this small book he described many
important aspects or topics like importance of education, love with murshad,humblness, immorality of this world
,love with human beings,preach for real actions,teaching of peace, reality of this fake world, and above all these
importance of spiritual love .In this book he described the word ESHAQ and ASHIQ almost one hundred and six
times.According to Sultan Bahu true love is above aqal and knowledge.If someone is perfect in his true love he will
do every act as the will of his beloved.He offers his prayers anywhere he recognize his creator or then himself.
ESHAQ AND SPIRITUAL LOVE is actually a name of very sacrad true emotion. It is not an easy and simple task
.A true lover always walk on the fire but in the end he reached at his destination. In this research article it is tried
to describe the philosophy of true love in the light of Abiyat Bahu.
