Abstract

In modern Urdu literature Jeelani Kamran's name is not necessitous of introduction. He was a renowed poet and critic of new poetic era who
wrote about thirty five books comprising poems and criticism. He was a forerunner for the new age of poetry. His book "Ustanzy" provides the
way to understand the " New poetry movement''and its prospect.His art is the other name of love and hope ,after Iqbal he tried to introduce the
conjugate ideology of art by his poems.Confidence,personalism,erudition and inveteracy are the most pronounced characteristics of his poems.In
most of his poems he has presented his ideology by his characters. In his poetic art it comes in front with multifarious countenance and with the
support of these characters Jeelani Kamran longs for the Islamic renaissance. In his poems with his art, characters and conception he proffers the
glory and wroth of Islamic past in a new way. His poems try to nourish the doctrinal and cultural harmony and secularisim. His characters are the
symbol of thewy and humanism, they provide the light of hope and warmth of love in the aberrance society,If we hold their hands so the darkness
of desperation, abortiveness can be volatile
