Abstract

The book “Anwar-e-Jamalia” was authored by HazratMunshi Khawaja Ghulam Hassan Shaheed (Mercy be Upon Him) in which he has pen downed the glorious presentment, sayings and persona of his beloved spiritual master “Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Muhammad JamalullahChistiNizami (Mercy be Upon Him)”. The book is comprised of a preamble, two chapters and an end note. In preamble, after praising Almighty Allah and his beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him), he has enlisted the great Sufi Saints of SilsilaChistia along with their specific appellations. In the first chapter, he has briefed about Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Muhammad JamalullahChistiNizami, his parents and servants. HazratMunshi Khawaja Ghulam Hassan Shaheed (Mercy be Upon Him) has respectfully covered all of these dimensions without exaggerations. The objective of this book was not only to give tribute to his beloved spiritual master, but also to establish a way forward for ultimate truth seekers in this mortal world. This book serves as a beacon for strayed and remedy for ignorance. In the second chapter, the Caliphs of Khawaja Hafiz Muhammad JamalullahChistiNizami (Mercy be Upon Him) have been discussed. In the end note, his descendants and their Caliphs have been discussed in detail. Moreover, the use of mystic poetry has further glorified the comprehensiveness of the book.
