فکشن کے فن کا عالمی تناظر:انگریزی سے اردو تراجم کا جائزہ

Abstract

            It has been written a lot about the art of fiction and still critics are writing. Every piece of criticism introduced new definations and art of fictions. So far it has been fictions, on the debate of its art new thought will be emerged. In Urdu world there are specific thoughts about this, which introduced only basic concepts about the art of fiction. When urdu translations of Western Critics's writings start coming it established urdu criticism as well. So far in urdu there are few writings of Western Fiction's critics has been translated, in which Milan Kundera, E.M. Forster, D.H. Lawrence, Richard Chase, Jorge Luis Borges, William Faulkner and Mario Vargas Llosa are prominent. This article not only introduces these translations but also emphasises the importance of these urdu translations. So that further work should come in the light of these findings.
