Abstract

Akhtar Raza Saleemi is a well-known Urdu poet, fiction writer, critic and editor. He started his literary career in poetry, but nowadays he is popular among the Urdu critics and readers for his novels. He has written two novels till now. His first novel "Jaagay Hain Khab Men" and second is "Jandar". He used many postmodern techniques in his novels. In this article we will explore and analyse these postmodern techniques to place these novels in postmodern Urdu literature.
