ORIENTALISTS HAVE DOCUMENTED A HADITH PROTESTING A CRITICAL CRITICISM

Abstract

The Science of Isnad Hadith is the distinguished knowledge in Islam is scinces which Allah Almighty has bestowed on the Ummah of Muhammad Arabi (S.A.W). Through this knowledge, Allah Almighty has preserved the hadith of the Prophet (S.A.W). Due to the essential relationship between Isnad and s ience of Hadith it has been a target of criticism by anti-Islamic elements and has raised suspicions about its initial use, and to try to show that the knowledge of Isnad is a product of second and third century so that hadiths can be considered unreliable. This short article seeks to address this skepticism of the Orientalists, and explained that the knowledge of Isnad has gone through three stages and has taken the existing form of Isnad in the book of Hadith: The arguments put forward by the Orientalists for their opinion are baseless and the Orientalists themselves are at odds over the origin of the Isnad.
