Abstract

A Hameed is a prominent fiction writer.Among his literary creations, his novel, short stories and dramas are particularly signification. A Hameed observed and felt life elosely and it is reflected in his literary creations. He has written around 80 novels which reflect every aspect of life. His novels portray romance, suspense and life with all beauty and vigour. His writings reflect his individual style which earned him popularity. His language is simple and attractive. These qualities have taken him to the heights and he enjoys excellence among his contemporary writers. “Champa kali”, Gulab ki tehni”,”Naryal ka phool”,” Barish main judai”and “Baleedan”are his popular novels. This article discusses and highlights literary style of A.Hameed in the selected works.
