Abstract

Literary journals have played an important role in the promotion and development of Urdu language. There was a literary service. Humayun tried his best to make the Urdu movement a success. Humayun has been the best reflection of Eastern, cultural, scientific and literary life. Humayun created healthy literature and also expressed healthy values. Humayun tried to make literature bound to a specific oriental style of ethics and did not give it a specific standard. Humayun established a certain standard of literature and aesthetics.Humayun, who was a pioneer in the promotion of Urdu language, fully supported Urdu. Editor Humayun was of the view that if Urdu was not supported then its future would be in grave danger. Numerous words about the religion of customs and traditions were in Urdu, due to which Hindus did not hesitate to consider Urdu as the language of Muslims. In this article, the role played by Humayun in making Urdu a simple and national language and in Urdu-Hindi dialect has been discussed. Humayun published a lot of information about Urdu language and disseminated it to the people. The efforts of Humayun's editors were not limited to the magazine but Maulana Tajur Najibabadi established an Urdu Center in August 1925. He belonged to a literary association. Among the writers on the subject of Urdu-Hindi Chapaklish in Humayun Magazine were Bashir Ahmed, Dr. Mohi-ud-Din, Muhammad Hussain Adib, Maulana Tajur Najibabadi, Maulvi Abdul Aziz, Nazer Dehlavi, Maulana Abdul Haq, Maulana Waheed-ud-Din. Maulana Wahiduddin Saleem and others are noteworthy.
