Abstract

This type of literature witnessed many of poets creations. Some of them took his
share of position and rank; others stayed unknown and very far of the field for
many reasons or for political reasons, or for clannishness, or been away from
centers of power and culture circles such as markets and sessions, and some other
reasons. Therefore, and according to what is mentioned above, as we belive in
rebirthing all creative values in our literary heritage, we proposed to study the
poetry of Ibn e Ashibl AlBaghdadi as a general study concerning his life and his
poetry according to what is available of information and texts concerning him;
because he in one of the infamous Abbasees poets and did not get his share fo
fame as did his associates of poets though he deserves that.
After we gathered what we could about Albaghdadi personality and
poetry, then the distinctive features of his poetry was characterized the matter
which puts him in the level of creative poets.
The plan of the study contained two theme: the first theme is contained
the concerning the life of Ibn e Ashibl AlBaghdadi at that era, his name, his
descendent and the alike. The second theme is contained the three main types of
Rhetorical pictures like:
I. Simile )التشبيه)
II. Metaphor )االستعارة)
III. Metonymy )الكنايت )in the Poetry of Ibn e Ashibl Al-Baghdadi.
