Abstract

Muzaffar Warsi is one of the famous Urdu Naat poet but he has many shades of personality. He is
simultaneously a Naat poet, poet nazim, lyricist, composer and critic. The echo of being a public poet is heard
in his poetry. He created literature for the purpose of literature. That's why they have a variety of topics.
When they see an oppression in the society, they become fans of the oppressed and participate in the protest
through their poetry. He authored about twenty books. Wrote poetry collections such as "Bab Haram" and "Dil
Se Dar -E- Nabi Tak" on praise and Naat recitation. In poetry, "Hisar" ," Zulm na sehna", "kamand," in lyric
poetry, "The water of the stars" based on the fields of "Blood of green", while in ghazal writing, "Baraf ki
Naoo" , "Raakh ke Dheer me phool", "Tanha Tanha Guzri hai" And " Dehka Jo Teer kha ke "are his poetry
collections. He also wrote an autobiography entitled "Trace of the two gone". During Zia-ul-Haq's tenure, he
was awarded with the Presidential Medal for Excellence.
