Abstract
Ghalib's style of expression is brilliant and exemplary of high literature and no eloquent or ordinary reader can forget his poems. That is why Ghalib's poetry is delightful and intriguing. And it is this attribute that keeps Ghalib alive. Finding meaning by immersing oneself in Ghalib's poems for the sake of speech becomes an invigorating mental endeavor. And the common man finds great aesthetic satisfaction at a high level. His style of expression is irrefutable whenever the beautiful composition of his poems is like a mysterious statue of Sphinx and his gestures are full of mysterious pleasures. The dominant style that distinguishes it from every poet of the age but also from all the great poets of the eighteenth century. All these things at first glance make them stand out from every other poet. Similar to Ghalib's poetry and style in terms of style and technique. Dominant metaphors are combining mental states and emotions. It is a complex mixture of mixed and unconnected states. In which words, grammar, concepts and ideas, reality and fiction, feelings and emotions are all playing their respective roles separately and together as one and the same. This is not the case with Hopkins or any other poet. Not so with Dunn, and not so with his contemporaries, who are technically closer to the dominant in many respects.
