Abstract
At-Tibaq:it is the term of Arabic Eloquence.It is used to decore the meanings or to beautify it. It means to place two antonyms and comparing them in a verse or in stanza, in a part of speech or in an article etc. For example, when say Emily Bronte in her verses: Will the day bright or cloudy Sweetly had its dawn begun But the heaven may shake with thunder Ere the setting of sun.In this staza she made two camparesions by placing antonyms in the verses, that are Bright & cloudy and Dawn & Settings.This technique is called the use of At-Tibaq in ArabicIt is very common phenomena in poetry in all over the world.In this article we defined this termnology and then gathered the examples of At-Tibaq from the different languages of the world i.e.(Arabic,Urdu,Persian,Punjabi and English) to clearify its concept and to compare it in different languages as well.
