Abstract

The ideal poet who considers himself faithful to the message that he is obliged to deliver in its fullest form and sincerity - in guiding the soul and transcending it, and in the happiness of the human society, spreading the lights of guidance, moral values, truth and beauty everywhere. Dr. Nājīb al-Kiylānī was one of them, as he saw that literature is a means, not an end. Literature should not be a context for mere pleasure and ecstasy in the same forum, but in order to lead a humanistic educational message, which is to instill supreme values and to cultivate souls and raising behavior. He was explicitly saying: "I am a preacher writer who has responsibility to spread the importance of eternal message”.Poetry is a social phenomenon that changes and the poet is a human being influenced by external and internal factors and his thinking and behavior are also influenced by it.Najīb al- Kiylānī's poetry has gone through four stages, and knowing each of them helps us to master this research.
