Abstract

In this research article, an important story of Urdu storytelling tradition "Sohni Mahinwal" has been reviewed.
Thus, this story has a purely Punjabi tradition, but it has also been given full attention in Urdu literature. In Urdu
literature, this story has been written for children as well as adults. The article under study introduces more than
twenty storytellers and storytellers. Some stories have been included in other books of history and literature with
reference to Gujarat and some in separate book form. Most are thought to be translations, but some may be shortlived. The story of most of the stories is traditional ie Syed Fazal Shah is close to the story of Nawan Koti but a few
have added.In this article Includes stories written by storytellers and writers.
