Abstract
The coronavirus has become a global epidemic, which has affected every living being, including humans on the planet. This contagious epidemic has had a devastating effect on the health system, the economy, the routine of worship, education and learning activities, individual and family life, the national and social system, and economic and social development projects. What should be the attitude of a Muslim at the individual level in that deadly global epidemic? In answer to these questions; in the light of the arguments of the Qur'an and Sunnah, it has come to light that a Muslim should prioritize the concept of life and health at the individual level and its practical steps. It is one of the teachings of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to abstain from transportation and to maintain social distance during epidemics. Overcoming psychological problems includes having positive thoughts and actions, letting go of stress and not pausing for unreliable news. The above-mentioned Shariah arguments suggest that whether it is a coronary heart disease or other epidemic, a Muslim should make positive changes in his behavior at the individual level under the teachings of Islam in order to protect his life and the lives of others.
