INTAZAR HUSSAIN’S SHORT STORY”AKHRI ADAMI” AND EXISTENTIAL IDENTITY CRISES

Abstract

Intazar Hussain is the most celebrated fiction writer in Urdu Literature. His writings are mainly concerned with the human values and their crises, civilizations and their downfalls and traditions and their meanings in life. He remained unique because of his symbolic style in his writings.This research is conducted to explore the existential idenitity crises in his short story”Akhri Adami” through the lens of existentialism. Intazar Hussain has artistically clairify the idea that humans are same as animal without recognizing the values of existential identity.
